    Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is conducted by State Council Educational Research and Training (SCERT),Punjab and this responsibility is handed over by Department of School Education, Government of Punjab.The purpose of conducting Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is to check the eligibility criteria of the candidates applying for the post of teachers at Primary level (Classes I-V) and Elementary level (Classes VI-VIII)

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION OF PSTET

    • The candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as ST/SC/OBC/Differently abled, shall given a Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility.
    • Candidates who are pursuing their final year of Bachelor Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education etc, and are appearing for PSTET exam at Primary level (Classes I-V) OR Elementary level (Classes VI-VIII) shall be provisionally admitted and the certificate which is provided to the candidate shall only be valid when the candidate will pass the examination which is required for the PSTET exam.

    Important Information of CTET 2015 Exam


    As per the information provided on the official website ctet.nic.in, Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 22nd February (Sunday), 2015 at 988 Examination Centres throughout the country and abroad including at 29 centres in Ghaziabad (U.P.).

    • CTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
    • Each question of ctet is carrying one mark
    • There will be no negative marking in the ctet exam of 2015.

    There will be two papers of CTET Exam 2015

    (i)         Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
    (ii)        Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

    Note: A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
