- In English section there was one reading comprehension passage.
- 2 to 3 questions in UGC NET Paper 1 were also based on Common Puzzels.
- 1 question was from Venn Diagram.
- Another important part in UGC NET Paper 1 is Data Interpretation covering approximately 5 to 6 questions.
- 4 to 5 questions were there from the Computer Section in the UGC NET Paper 1 which was held on 28th December 2014.
- 5 to 6 questions were there from the Environment in UGC NET Paper 1.
- 5 to 6 questions were there from Higher Education and Polity in UGC NET Paper 1.
- 5 to 6 questions were there from the Research Methodology in UGC NET Paper 1.
- Total time given for UGC NET Paper 1 is 1 hour and 25 minutes.
